Turn your mobile minutes into free international calling with OziCall. Simply call one of our access numbers from your mobile phone, listen to the instructions, then dial your international destination. We’ll connect you overseas for no additional cost.

How Does It Work?

Dial an access number (located in the upper right part of this page). Listen to our prompt. When prompted, enter the international phone number you want to connect to starting with the country code. When you have finished dialing, press the # key, and we will connect your call. That’s it.

Is It Really Free?

The international call is free, but you need to use your mobile cap minutes to connect to our access number. If you make a 30 minute call to India through OziCall, you will use up 30 of your mobile minutes.

When dialing your international destination, make sure that you do not hit the send button on your phone. That will disconnect you from our gateway and dial the international number over your normal mobile network.

Do I need to provide any personal information or enter any pin codes?

No. You do not need to create an account, provide us with any personal information, or credit card information. You also do not need to enter a PIN code. Just dial your international destination when our prompt instructs you to.

What mobile networks can I call you from?

Our service is treated like a normal mobile phone call when you are calling from the 3, or Telstra networks. This includes any MVNO operators that are running under these providers.

If you are calling from Vodafone, you should read this to understand how you they treat calls to our service. Standard Cap contracts include calls to OziCall in their monthly cap value. Unlimited Cap Plans charge an extra per minute fee outside of the cap for calling OziCall.

Calls from the Optus network are charged at a premium rate equivalent to a direct dial international call by Optus. If you are using Optus, Virgin, or any other service using the Optus network, we recommend that you check with them regarding the extra charges they impose on calling our access numbers.
